There are two treasuries inside the protocol. They do different jobs and are governed differently.

  • Preserved Gold Treasury.The gold treasury functions as the foundational natural asset layer of the Ecosystem. It provides the Protocol’s exposure to the appreciation from climate positive preserved gold to sustain the staking rewards pools.
  • Protocol Token Treasury.The token treasury is the protocol's own holding of nGRND Gold Protocol Tokens. It is the operating war chest.
  • Purpose.Ecosystem operations, partnerships, growth, future-state needs.
  • Governance.Use is determined by the white paper, not by token holder vote.
